Manu Ora is a small Te Tauihu primary health care team, with a difference. “Manu Ora” refers to the bird taking flight having achieved hauora (wellbeing).
It encompasses our mission to provide a holistic approach that embraces and provides more fully for our Wairau community.
Manu Ora offers complete General Practice and nursing primary health care with a holistic focus on all aspects of hauora/wellbeing.
Our services include, but are not limited to:
General Practice Consults (Dr, Nurse and combined Dr/Nurse consultations)
Accident and Injury Care (ACC)
Health Screening – such as cervical smears, blood pressure checks, diabetic reviews
Home Visits (including rest homes)
Immunisations
